Aestheticians Loving Mineral Air Skin for Post-Facial Nourishment

InkSpa owner and licensed aesthetician Jennifer Estevez finishes off her deep cleaning facial treatments with a good mist from the Mineral Air Skin Renewal Serum System.

Licensed aesthetician and microblading brow expert Jennifer Estevez of InkSpa in Glendora, California, has been using the Mineral Air Skin Renewal Serum System on herself and is a fan.

“I myself have very dry skin,” she reports, “that used to get so itchy and dehydrated that my makeup would crack. For me, the MAS Renewal Serum mist has been a game changer because I can apply it every few hours over my makeup to keep it looking fresh and without smearing. It hydrates beautifully and soothes my skin without feeling at all wet. I can’t think of anything better as a professional woman on the go because who has time to wash your face, remoisturize and reapply makeup throughout the day?”

Facial complete

When she noticed how well her own skin responded, Jennifer gave the product a closer look. “Seeing that the Renewal Serum mist contains two of my very favorite ingredients ever, hyaluronic acid for plumping and moisturizing and aloe vera for soothing and healing, I tried it on my facial clients at the very end of their treatments as a nice, calming conclusio. They absolutely loved it and so do I.”

Jennifer now includes a MAS Renewal Mist at the conclusion of both the deep cleaning facials and peels she performs. “Right after extractions or exfoliating peeling treatments,” she says, “the skin’s pores are wide open. This is the perfect time to apply the mist because the skin is the most responsive and nourishment can absorb more deeply. And as with after peels, freshly extracted skin is more vulnerable to injury which is why the light touchless mist application is particularly welcome and appropriate.”

Touchless wonder

Jennifer suggests that a quick spritz with the Mineral Air ElixerMist device is a good finish for at-home peels too. She’s particularly pleased that it’s touchless.

“Like every other skincare professional, I’m constantly reminding my clients to keep their hands off their faces,” she says. “Just because you can’t see potentially damaging bacteria or microscopic wear and tear on the skin, doesn’t mean it isn’t there and our fingers are some of the worst culprits there are for spreading both. If I had my druthers, my clients would only touch their skin twice a day; once in the morning and once in the evening during cleansing. I know this is hardly realistic but products like the Mineral Air make it a little easier.”

What’s the difference?

Mineral Air offers two device-plus-formula categories, one for makeup, the other for skincare.
Mineral Air original (MA) includes its AirMist Device, an easy to use, everyday consumer tool that rivals professional airbrushing in its cosmetic application of our eponymous foundation, blush, or bronzer. Mineral Air Skin (MAS) features the Renewal Serum System with its ElixerMist Device for lightweight vaporized delivery.

“Right after extractions or exfoliating peeling treatments is the perfect time to mist on Renewal Serum because the skin is the most responsive and nourishment can absorb more deeply.”
