Beauty Content Creator @jpaintedit Sees Mineral Air in the Picture
Los Angeles-based new media maestro Jésus Pulgarín seamlessly combines his MUA chops with his digital ones.
It’s rare to find a tech-savvy digital content creator who is also an accomplished makeup artist but Jésus Pulgarín (they/them) enjoys success combining both. In their studio, they conceive, design, produce, direct, and edit sparkling social media campaigns for the beauty industry.
“I’ve always been comfortable with technology having grown up in Silicon Valley,” they say. “As I was coming up, high definition camera resolutions of 4K and 5K presented (and still do) special challenges for makeup artists. So I built my application skills knowing that these exacting standards are going to be the norm. I’m attracted to Mineral Air because its sheer seamless quality and flawless finish can withstand the scrutiny.”
Jésus and Mineral Air are a perfect fit, given our mutual emphasis in creating natural, glowing complexions. For them–and for us–skin must look like skin. They also appreciate the speed and facility of the AirMist device to deliver the Four-in-One Foundation in comparison to traditional cumbersome airbrush makeup set-ups. And because the Four-in-One micronizes the primer, concealer, pigment and hydration in one formula, the application stays super lightweight while still being able to efficiently disguise imperfections.
Jésus feels doubly blessed to have the combination of skills they have. They say, “Running a self-contained studio operation meant that during the pandemic, when in-person photo and video shoots got shut down, I was still able to keep working digitally by remote.”
What’s the difference?
Mineral Air offers two device-plus-formula categories, one for makeup, the other for skincare. Mineral Air original (MA) includes its AirMist Device, an easy to use, everyday consumer tool that rivals professional airbrushing in its cosmetic application of our eponymous foundation, blush, or bronzer. Mineral Air Skin (MAS) features the Renewal Serum System with its ElixerMist Device for lightweight vaporized delivery.
